The Formation of Fusionn

Dan Fisher

danfisher.jpg

May 14 of 1983 was when Dan Fisher was born in Brockport, New York. Fusionn's lead
guitarist went on to graduate from Byron-Bergen High School. Dan decided to go to
Monroe Community College for history. Before long, he will be in the same books that he
is studying, since Fusionn will be making history. Kurt Cobain, Serj Tankania and his
father are three individuals that Dan considers to be his musical influences. Kurt Cobain
is such an ever present influence upon Dan, that among the groups that Dan listens to is
Nirvana. Included on the list is also System of a Down, Hed PE and Incubus. "Sugar" by
System of a Down is Dan's favorite non-Fusionn song. The Taurus lists "Steel Tongue"
as his favorite Fusionn song, and like his astrological sign, the bull, Dan will be stubborn
when it comes to one thing; seeing his dream start to dwindle away. He is a hard worker
that is destined to be successful in whatever endeavor he decides to take part in. Luckily
for both, he and Fusionn they have found one another and formed a common goal, to take
the music world by storm. What Dan listed as his goal or aspiration is no surprise,
because he shares this intense feeling along with the other members of Fusionn. It is to be
successful in music. Guitar has been a part of Dan Fisher's life since 1995, when he
began playing the instrument. Since that fateful day in 1995, Dan has not looked back,
and probably will not. The fact of the matter is, without Dan Fisher the band would not be
Fusionn. There would be one nucleus missing from the combination of the four, and
would not be able to produce as much energy as it presently does. The portion of the bond
that Fusionn is, that Dan makes up is the support which strengthens the force that attracts
the band.

Damion Hill

Damion Hill, was born on April, 3 1981. "Diminion", as some call him, was born
in the town of Albion. Damion basically has grown up around music, and to him it is
simply a way of life. Damion's father has been the person in music that has had the most
influence. Fusionn's bassist has been around his father's bands and that has in grained the
love of music into Damion's soul. As with the rest of Fusionn, the love of music fuels
Damion. Not only does he want to make his own music as a member of Fusionn, after all
is said and done, "Diminion" would like to be a recording producer. He already has a
good start, as he has been recording some of his own music for many years. The graduate
of Churchville-Chili High School is going to Finger Lakes Community College to work
towards his dream job of producer. Much like Fusionn itself, Damion is willing to work
tirelessly to make his aspirations become a reality. Damion lists his friends and family as
the most influential people outside of music. Among the friends and family is Damion's
girlfriend. If one attends a Fusionn concert among the conglomeration of fans entranced
by Fusionn's powerful riffs, mesmerizing bass lines and deep lyrics, they will find
Damion's girlfriend mixed in the crowd. The creative mind that this musician has isnt
just ideas in the recording studio or artistic skill, Damion is creative down to his very
core. It shows in what his favorite saying is, "I am trying to think...." because he is always
thinking of something. Damion lives, walks and breathes Fusionn, but when asked which
song off of Fusionn's self-titled CD was his personal favorite, he was quick to respond
with "Josh". The master bassist has been playing for five years on and off, but with
Fusionn destined for success it will, undoubtedly, continue on for several years down the
road. Thanks to Damion, this winding road that is the future of Fusionn is being
navigated perfectly.

Fusionn; a nuclear reaction in which nuclei of light elements combine to form a more
massive nuclei, with the release of huge amounts of energy.
This is the very definition of
a hard-rock band. The members of the group have extreme amounts of energy and talent
in their own right, but when they combine together a stronger bond is formed and massive
amounts of energy becomes released.
Making up this nuclear reaction are four members: Lee Goodale, vocals and
rhythm guitar; Cole Cooper, drums; Dan Fisher, lead guitar; and Damion Hill, bass guitar.
The tightly knit band formed in Bergen, New York in December of 1999. The lead
vocalist, Lee Goodale said, "Fusionn formed out of a common interest of heavy rock and
a need for an outlet to release all of our inner energy and anger". Fusionn states that the
first day they were together they began recording ideas for their debut album, proving the
chemistry in the equation of the band is over-powering. Thus, Fusionn was created
emitting boundless energy that will be felt for years to come.
According to the band, "All of us know where we want to go, Fusionn is not just
about being in a band, its an obsession that fuels our everyday lives". The obsession
which they speak of is evident in the serious approach they take in accomplishing certain
tasks in order to attain their dream of being a quality rock band that eventually is known
around the world. "We live, walk and breathe Fusionn. We as Fusionn are on a mission to
become known for the raw energy and spirit that becomes of our music", Lee Goodale
said. Fusionn's dream seems to be one step closer every time they perform to an
electrified crowd. The crowd feeds off of Fusionn and Fusionn feeds of off them, it is a
beautiful symbiotic relationship that continuously grows.
The tale of the formation of Fusionn is remarkable, but the dreams that they are
about to seize are far greater. With the fan base of Fusionn augmenting daily, Fusionn
refuses to rest until their aspirations are realized.

Cole Cooper

Cole Cooper has felt the influence of music for almost all of his life. The drummer of
Fusionn has been playing his chosen instrument since the age of five. It was at five that
people around him noticed the talent on the skins the he had. Amazingly, more than a
decade later, the talent is still noticeable. Not only has he been playing music for many
years, he has simply been around it. Music simply surrounded him as he grew up in
Bergen, NY. Gary Cooper, Cole's father is the most influential person in Coles life at
this point. Mr. Cooper has guided Cole and Fusionn through the first years of existence.
Cole works full-time and is part of Xsentrix Records. Cole is the very definition of a rock
star. It is in his blood- it is what drives him. If one envisions what a rock star is, Cole
Cooper would be what they see. Without Cole, Fusionn would not be the band that they
are. With the drummer's personality, Fusionn is exciting to follow. Between the drum
solos and the stage presence, he thrills the audience every performance. The success of
the band is dependent on all of the members, but is especially true regarding Cole. This
member of Fusionn, is one thing that makes the band different from other up-and-coming
bands. In order for Cole to be happy, Fusionn's music must be known. Fusionn is
destined to make tremendous things happen, partly because of Cole's love for making
music.

Lee Goodale

Lee L. Goodale entered the world on September, 13 1979. The lead singer of Fusionn
grew up in the small town of Bergen, where he polished his Small town people skills.
Lee can carry on a conversation about anything with anyone, simply put he is a people
person. This is evident in the way he handled the inter-personal relationships between he
and the customers as a Pharmacy Technician at Wegmans Food and Pharmacy. Even
though Lee enjoyed the job at the Pharmacy, and the scholarship which he received from
the store, he must leave to pursue other dreams. To assist him in grasping his dreams, Lee
obtained a Marketing degree from the State University of New York at Brockport in May
of 2001. With all of the lectures and school work done, Lee can use the knowledge from
the courses to help guide Fusionn into the ears and hearts of many. Lee Goodale has said,
"My goal is to make music that lasts". At the rate he and Fusionn are going they have a
tremendous start. Not only does Lee Goodale provide the vocals and rhythm guitar on
Fusionn's first compact disc, he also wrote the lyrics and music for all of the songs on the
disc. That is one reason why Lee takes this venture to heart, because the talented writer
pours his sweat and tears into his music. Writing songs that range from acoustic wonders
to rock-driven songs that cause Lee's throat to become raw. If it is not apparent, music is
what makes Lee complete. His love for creating songs, playing to packed audiences, and
performing with his bandmates shines through everytime. With Lee's gift for writing,
playing guitar and the ability to change styles of songs are easily discernible from
listening to Fusionn's self-titled album, or witnessing the magic live. Along with those
amazing qualities, Lee also brings an astonishing amount of energy to each of his shows,
with a personal touch guaranteed at each one. His stage presence is remarkable and will
only get better as the pages of the calendar turn. One audience member that has known
Lee previously said, "Lee is like a totally different person when he gets on stage". This is
true. The passion for making a show that pleases the fans, as well as music that lasts is
what intensifies this switch from mild-mannered citizen to a performer that gives all that
he can. Lee has been playing guitar since 1994 and using his vocal cords since he was six
months old. Lee's love for music must originate from somewhere, and the people that
have influenced him to pursue his goal may have a large part to do with it. They include:
"The Birdman", Becky, Shirley, Bill and Maynard. The fact of the matter is that Lee is the
epitome of a leader. He binds Fusionn together and helps to make them what they are; a
talented hard-rock band that provide songs that will forever be heard.
